Reboot Device

The Reboot device action restarts or shuts down the device. In the portal, the action is marked with the Interactive Whiteboard badge for Android Classic devices.

The action is selected in the details of a device under Devices → Inventory on the Actions tab via Apply action. The following options are available in the next step:

• Reason for rebooting: optional information on why the device is restarted.
• Power off (also marked with the Interactive Whiteboard badge): The device is shut down instead of restarted.

For KION and Newline devices, neither the reason nor the Power off option is available.
