Send Message

The Send message action displays a text message on the device. A title and the message text (Content) are required.

On smartphones and tablets, the message is delivered to the Relution app via push. If sending succeeds, the action immediately receives the status Executed, with the title and content of the delivered message as a comment. The status confirms delivery, not that the message has been read on the device. If the push fails, the action remains Pending until the device fetches it itself. Interactive displays (whiteboards) do not receive the message via push to the Relution app but, like other actions, via the device channel.

Completed message actions are automatically removed from the action history after 10 days by default.
