Wallpaper

As of Relution 5.33, the Wallpaper configuration is available for Android Enterprise and Android Classic/Legacy. This allows setting an image for the home screen that appears on devices after applying the policy. The policy also enables adding text (including placeholders) to display dynamic text on the wallpaper.

The Wallpaper configuration sets the image but does not prevent users from changing it on the device.

Configuration #

The General section contains the following fields:

• Text on wallpaper – optional text placed on the image. Placeholders are resolved per device; the supported placeholders are listed in the form below the input fields.
• Text color – hex color code, e.g. #ffffff (default), optionally via the color picker.
• Wallpaper – the image itself (mandatory). The maximum file size is 3 MB by default; on self-hosted servers, it can be adjusted via the parameter relution.wallpaper.max-file-size.android. If the image is larger, the portal displays an error message and the configuration cannot be saved.
