Unenroll devices
On this page
Unenrollment ends the management of a device by Relution. A device is unenrolled by deleting it: the Delete action is available in the device inventory and on the device details page. After the deletion is confirmed, Relution removes the organization’s data from the device and deletes the device from the inventory. The unenrollment is recorded in the audit log, and the device can be enrolled again at any time.
Effect per enrollment type
What happens on the device depends on how it was enrolled:
| Enrollment type | Effect of the deletion |
|---|---|
| Managed Device → | The device is wiped and reset to factory settings. |
| Work profile / BYOD → | Only the work profile is removed, including all work apps and data. Private data remains on the device. |
| Personal profile → | Only the work profile is removed, including all work apps and data. Private data remains on the device. |
Trash
Deleted devices are first moved to the Trash of the device inventory. Only deleting a device again from the trash removes it permanently from Relution.
