Google Play Store shows no apps

Google Play Store shows no apps

Sometimes, the Google Play Store on a device might not display any apps. Here’s a step-by-step guide to fix this issue:

Step 1: Find and approve the app in the Managed Google Play Store

First, the desired app needs to be found and approved in the Managed Google Play Store.

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to https://play.google.com/work.
  2. Search for the desired app that is not showing on the device.
  3. Approve the app to make it available for the organization.

Step 2: Add the app to a collection in Relution

After the app has been approved, it needs to be added to an app collection in Relution.

  1. Log in to the Relution Portal.
  2. In the Manage App configuration, add it.
  3. Select Managed Google Play Store App (Android Enterprise).
  4. Select Manage Apps in the side menu.
  5. Create a collection or select an existing one.
  6. Select the app that was just approved in the Managed Google Play Store and add it to the collection.

Step 3: Set the app to “available” in a policy

Finally, ensure the app is set to “available” in the corresponding policy. This ensures the app appears on assigned devices.

  1. In the Relution Portal, navigate to the AE Policy.
  2. Select “Manage Apps”.
  3. Find the app in the list and ensure its status is set to “available”.

After these steps have been completed, the app should appear in the Google Play Store on the device and can be installed.
