File transfer via USB

USB data transfer (files/pictures) is no longer selectable on Android devices; the corresponding menu item is missing on the device. This is because Google no longer accounts for a field in the API that controls USB access—the function has since been disabled by default.

Restoring the function

As of Relution 5.22.4, a new default value is set server-side that re-enables the function:

  1. Update Relution to at least version 5.22.4 (see changelog →).
  2. Reapply policies on the affected devices: Under Devices → Inventory, set a filter for all Android devices, select all, and reapply the policies via the three-dot menu.
