Personal Usage

This policy configures personal usage for a fully managed device with a work profile.

The Personal Usage policy restricts the personal profile of a fully managed device with a work profile (COPE).

Settings

Disable camera – disables the camera in the personal profile.
Disallow screen capture – prevents screenshots in the personal profile.
Account types with management disabled – prevents adding specific account types in the personal profile.
Maximum days work profile can be turned off – limits how long users may pause the work profile (minimum 3 days, default 90).
Allow Bluetooth sharing – controls whether content from the personal profile may be shared via Bluetooth (requires Android 8; a compliance violation is reported on older devices).
Allow users to create a private space profile – allows or prevents creating an additional “Private Space” profile. If creation is disallowed, existing private spaces are removed.

Apps on the blocklist or apps on the allowlist – controls which apps may be installed from the Play Store in the personal profile.
