Personal Usage

This policy configures personal usage for a fully managed device with a work profile.

The Personal Usage policy restricts the personal profile of a fully managed device with a work profile (COPE).

Settings

Disable camera – disables the camera in the personal profile.
Disable screen capture – prevents screenshots in the personal profile.
Account types for which management is disabled – prevents adding specific account types in the personal profile.
Maximum amount of days that Work mode can be turned off for – limits how long users may pause Work mode (minimum 3 days, default 90).
Allow Bluetooth sharing – controls whether content from the personal profile may be shared via Bluetooth. Values: Unspecified (default, behaves like Allowed), Allowed, Disallowed. Disallowed requires Android 8; a compliance violation is reported on older devices.
Users can create a private space profile – allows or prevents creating an additional Private Space profile. Values: Unspecified (default, behaves like Allowed), Allowed, Disallowed. With Disallowed, existing private spaces are removed.

List type: Blocklist or allowlist
Blocked apps or Allowed apps – controls which apps may be installed from the Play Store in the personal profile.
