User Messages
Introduction
Managed Android Enterprise devices can display a message on the lock screen. This makes it easier to identify the device or can be used for a phone number in case of loss. In addition, a short and a long support message can be configured; these are sometimes displayed as pop-up messages in the system settings, for example, when a user tries to access a locked setting.
Lock Screen Message
This message is displayed on the device’s lock screen. It is recommended to enter the company/organization, a device ID, and a contact email or phone number.
Additionally, the messages can be customized to specific countries. For example, if a device is set to English, a corresponding message will be displayed based on the system language.
Short Support Message
This message is displayed within the device’s settings whenever a user attempts to access a locked setting. A pop-up with the corresponding content will appear.
