Unenroll devices
Unenrollment ends the management of a device by Relution. A device is unenrolled by deleting it: the Delete action is available in the device inventory and on the device details page. After the deletion is confirmed, the MDM profile — including all configurations, certificates, and managed apps distributed through Relution — is removed from the device and the device is deleted from the inventory. The device itself is not erased; personal data remains on the device.
The unenrollment is recorded in the audit log, and the device can be enrolled again at any time. This applies to devices enrolled via Manual enrollment → as well as via User Enrollment →.
Devices enrolled via Automated Device Enrollment (DEP)
Deleting a device in Relution does not remove it from the Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager. If a device is to leave the organization permanently — for example, to be returned to private use — it must additionally be removed from the Apple DEP. See Remove devices → for the complete procedure.
Trash
Deleted devices are first moved to the Trash of the device inventory. Only deleting a device again from the trash removes it permanently from Relution.
