Remote Support with Relution and TeamViewer (iOS)
Introduction
With TeamViewer, remote support sessions can be created and shared with recipients. Via Relution, a session link can be sent to a device via message. Prerequisite: The TeamViewer QuickSupport app is installed on the device.
This guide describes how to create a session, share the link, and get the recipient to connect.
Requirements
- TeamViewer
- TeamViewer QuickSupport App on the target device (e.g. iPhone or iPad)
- Access to Relution to send the message
- Permission to use remote support
Steps to create a remote session
- Create message with link:
- Log in to Relution.
- Under Devices > Inventory > Select device > Select action > Send message, a message can be sent.
- A link to the TeamViewer session is inserted into the message.
- The message is sent to the desired device.
- Open the link on the device:
- The recipient receives the message on his device.
- The recipient opens the message and clicks on the link.
- The TeamViewer QuickSupport app opens automatically.
- Start session:
- The message sender can now start the session on their computer.
- The recipient must confirm the connection on their device.
Notes
- Make sure that the TeamViewer QuickSupport app is up to date.
- The link to the TeamViewer session is only valid for a limited time.
- The recipient must have a stable internet connection.
