Remote Support with Relution and TeamViewer (iOS)

Introduction

With TeamViewer, remote support sessions can be created and shared with recipients. Via Relution, a session link can be sent to a device via message. Prerequisite: The TeamViewer QuickSupport app is installed on the device.

This guide describes how to create a session, share the link, and get the recipient to connect.

Requirements

  • TeamViewer
  • TeamViewer QuickSupport App on the target device (e.g. iPhone or iPad)
  • Access to Relution to send the message
  • Permission to use remote support

Steps to create a remote session

  1. Create message with link:
    • Log in to Relution.
    • Under Devices > Inventory > Select device > Select action > Send message, a message can be sent.
    • A link to the TeamViewer session is inserted into the message.
    • The message is sent to the desired device.
  2. Open the link on the device:
    • The recipient receives the message on his device.
    • The recipient opens the message and clicks on the link.
    • The TeamViewer QuickSupport app opens automatically.
  3. Start session:
    • The message sender can now start the session on their computer.
    • The recipient must confirm the connection on their device.

Notes

  • Make sure that the TeamViewer QuickSupport app is up to date.
