Notifications

Introduction

From version 5.25, Relution for iOS allows you to preconfigure the settings for notifications for individual apps. The ‘Notifications’ policy configuration is available for selection for this purpose.

Configuration

To configure notification settings, an app to which the setting is to be applied must be selected. The usual selection options ‘Relution App Store’, ‘Apple App Store’, ‘iOS System Apps’ and ‘Manual entry’ are available for this purpose. Once an app has been selected, it can be configured accordingly.

At this point, notifications can be activated on the device for the corresponding app. This includes the display in CarPlay, on the lock screen or in the message centre. The notification type can be set as a temporary or permanent banner.

Critical warning messages can also be activated and sounds can be switched on.

The preview type can also be set. Here you can choose between ‘Always’, ‘Unlocked’ and ‘Never’.

Grouping by app is also possible.
