Customer HubSiri Settings
As of macOS 26.4 and Relution 26.3, the Siri Settings configuration is available, implemented through Declarative Device Management (DDM). This policy centrally controls Siri’s general availability and the profanity filter. Other options of this configuration — processing user-generated content and access to Siri while locked — are only available on iOS and are not shown in the form for macOS. Only one configuration of this type is possible per policy.
This configuration requires macOS 26.4 or later and is only available for devices managed through Device Enrollment; it is not available for devices with User Enrollment (BYOD).
Comparable Siri switches (Allow Siri, Enable Siri profanity filter) also exist in the Restrictions → configuration. They are marked as Deprecated there and are superseded by the Siri Settings. For devices running versions earlier than macOS 26.4, Siri can still only be controlled via the restrictions.
Siri settings
- Enable Siri
- Enables or disables Siri on the device. Enabled by default.
- Force Profanity Filter
- Enforces Siri’s profanity filter. Disabled by default.
