Introduction
The Relution Assets App enables borrowed devices to be easily returned using a QR code scan.
For this, the Relution Assets App must be installed on an admin device, and the Relution Agent App must be installed on the borrowed device.
Instructions for returning: How to return a borrowed device
To return a loaned device, follow these steps:
Loaned device
- Open the Relution Agent App
- Open the side menu (hamburger menu)
- Open device information
- QR code must be visible
Managing device
- Open the Relution Assets App
- Scan the QR code from the loaned device
- After scanning, up to 3 options are available depending on whether it is a 1:1 or shared device:
- Return device: Ends the lending period without further changes
- Reset to factory settings + return device: Wipes the device and ends the lending period
- Shared logout + return: Logs out the current user and ends the lending process for shared devices
For a shared device, the additional option Logout + Return Lending is available. This logs out the current user and returns the device.
After the return
After performing an action, the Relution Portal will show that the lending has ended and display the return date.
