Create organizations

Introduction

Relation is multi-client capable, i.e. a realistic representation of school or company structures is possible. After installation, the first login is at the global organizational level. From there, further clients can be created. This article explains step by step what measures need to be taken and what needs to be paid particular attention to.

Creating an organization

  1. Log in to the system with the created or transferred administrator admin and the password.

The first time a user logs in, the EULA must be accepted.

  2. In the Global organization, navigate to Organizations > Add in the sidebar.

organization data

  • organization data

If your organization, company or business is not listed, you have the option of entering an address manually.

Organization

  • Name

This is used for general display in Relution and can be changed later.

  • Unique identifier of the organization

This cannot be changed later (database-relevant).

  • Sender address

The sender address is the email address that the server should use as the sender when sending an email (e.g. when creating a new enrollment or when certificates expire, etc.)

  • Reply addresses

The reply address is the (optional) address that is written in the “Reply-To” field in the e-mail. If a user clicks on Reply in the registration e-mail, for example, this address should be used as the recipient instead of the original sender (depending on the mail client).

Administration

  • Manage members

Add existing members of the organization

  • Create administrator

Create a new administrator for this organization

Summary

  • A summary of all the items entered or selected is displayed.

Restriction (optional)

  • Licenses

Without a limit, the created organization can use all Global licenses until they are used up. The limit can be set, removed or adjusted later (top right, next to the user name in the “?” menu, via the “License information” item).
