Supported Actions
The Android Enterprise Actions → are available, including Shutdown device. This action shuts the whiteboard down completely. With Android Enterprise, it is only supported by certain whiteboards; the portal marks it with the supported vendors, including Newline.
Relution Newline OEMConfig App
To make the additional functions of the whiteboards available via Android Enterprise, the Relution Newline OEMConfig app must be installed and configured on the device.
Configuration
The Relution Newline OEMConfig app is configured via a policy with a Newline OEMConfig configuration.
The configuration is available from Relution 5.34.0 onwards.
The configuration installs the Relution Newline OEMConfig app on the device with the installation type Force-installed, updates it with high priority and grants it the required permissions. Users cannot remove the app. A separate distribution via the Manage apps configuration is neither required nor possible: if the app is listed there, the configuration cannot be saved, and the portal refers to the Newline OEMConfig configuration.
Placeholders can be used in the configuration values; the form shows the available placeholders.
Settings Options
The Relution Newline OEMConfig app offers the following configuration options:
