WinGet Error -1073741515 #

The installation of WinGet apps via Relution fails with the following error code: -1073741515 (0xC0000135)

Cause #

During the installation of apps via WinGet, an error may occur if the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable is not installed on the target machine.

Solution #

The Windows Companion installs a missing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable itself, even if the Manage WinGet and its dependencies option is disabled in the Configure Companion → policy. If the error still occurs, a manual installation helps.

WinGet Error -1978335230 #

The installation of WinGet apps via Relution fails with the following error code: -1978335230 (0x8A150002)

One of the following error messages is displayed:

Argumentname wurde für den aktuellen Befehl nicht erkannt: --disable-interactivity

Argument name was not recognized for the current command : --disable-interactivity

Cause #

The installed WinGet version is too old and does not yet support the required argument --disable-interactivity.

Solution #

WinGet must be installed at least in version 1.6.

If the Manage WinGet and its dependencies option is enabled in the Configure Companion → policy (default), the Windows Companion updates WinGet and its dependencies when it starts.

If the option is disabled or not available, WinGet must be updated manually. An update is available in the Microsoft Store (App Installer package).

WinGet versions older than 1.6 cannot update themselves yet.
