Windows Office

Introduction

Relution lets you centrally deploy a Microsoft Office installation to Windows devices using a previously created configuration XML. The policy is available starting with Windows 10 version 1703 for the Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions.

Configuration

The configuration consists of a single file:

  • Configuration XML – required, XML file upload.

This XML file is not created in Relution but generated using the official Microsoft tool config.office.com. There you define licensing, the update channel, and which Office apps and languages to install.

If another Office suite is already installed on the device, it is automatically uninstalled before the new configuration is applied.
