Windows Office

Relution allows a Microsoft Office installation to be centrally deployed to Windows devices using a previously created configuration XML. The policy is available starting with Windows 10 version 1703 for the Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions.

Configuration #

The configuration consists of a single file:

• Configuration XML – required, XML file upload.

This XML file is not created in Relution but generated using the official Microsoft tool config.office.com. There, licensing, the update channel, and which Office apps and languages to install are defined.

If another Office suite is already installed on the device, it is automatically uninstalled before the new configuration is applied.
